I like it when Morrelli and Ranger gang up on her though. Like when they are at Cluck in a Bucket trying to decide who will clean her or up or at the balcony trying to figure out if someone is going to stop her from leaving. When they are getting along, her reactions are hilarious.
Yeah, I really liked that book too. I thought it explained a lot that he stayed emotionally distant from his daughter because he thought it was best for her and himself. He feels his lifestyle demands it and that she has a good life. It means a lot that he did not manage that with Steph. I did not bother me too much that they were bothering with flirting while in mortal danger ( themselves or Julie ) because, that's who they are. I think of it as a comedy after all more than a drama so you have to give some license to keeping it light and funny. If they were all depressed the whole time and serious like real people and a real parent should have been, it wouldn't be a Plum book!
The only thing I don't like is that Steph is cheating and I don't like that. It's fine if she bounces back and forth for sexual tension but I wish she would break if off with Joe ( temporarily ) first.

I agree, i like the flirting and her actions when they guys gang up on her, i dont approve of cheating, however like u said its not serious, so i can let it slide for the book. If she was to "temporarily" break off with joe i would be extatic, i desperatly want her to have a serious go with ranger for a bit, c what he would b like as a partner.

Also i think it does show alot that ranger has not kept himself emotionally distant from steph, he genuinely likes her, which is awesome

It would be interesting seeing how they would react in a relationship. I guess it would be a little tricky if they got together seriously but it would be doable to have her and Joe be taking a break and Ranger and Steph just where they are. I am not sure I see Ranger calling her his girlfriend but I see them getting involved more. I could see that relationship just staying where it is, where no one defines it. I can't imagine what the Merry men think.

You know, maybe he hasn't kept himself emotionally distant from her since he usually has to be keep people safe. I assume those close to him could be a target for all kinds of bad stuff but Steph, well, she's a target without him so it's OK ;D

I dont see ranger calling her his girlfriend, though i would like to. But i think once ranger commits its all or nothing. He said in one of the books that if she was to come home to him without any underwear he would go out and kill the guy she was with, (something like that). So i think if they were to have a go of it, she would have to be serious about the relationship.

I remember the line about the underwear thing. And I agree that would be all or nothing, cause I don't think ranger's much for the forgiving. As far as the cheating thing goes though, I think its really minimal, the kisses are there but for the most part steph tries to fight it and at least mentions Joe when needed. Soo I think she's ok for now. I love this series, and the plot, so even when you finish the books you can still think about them and feel like its there.

I loved this book, I love the GPS part. I love that it had a lot more Ranger and Stephanie in it and I love that Ranger told Stephaine that he has been able to keep his emotional distance from Julie even when she is his daughter because he knows that she is happy but he has trouble keeping his emotional distance from Stephanie. I loved when Ranger and Joe where basically fliping a coin to see who had to clean Stephanie up and I also loved When they both caught her going out the window and they were tryingt o see who wsa going to stop her. I would love for Joe and Ranger to be friends, but I want Ranger to be who she ends up with.
